Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement Inked by CUHK-Shenzhen and Longgang District Government
On December 29, the People's Government of Longgang District, Shenzhen and The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement, in which the two sides will take advantage of their respective strengths to carry out innovative and in-depth pragmatic cooperation in the fields of Shenzhen-Hong Kong cooperation, institutional innovation, scientific and technological innovation, key industries, talent exchange and cooperation, education, medical care, and social and livelihood issues.

President Xu Yansheng said that the agreement is a new takeoff for the two sides to deepen cooperation, for the university to accelerate development, and for the Longgang District to build a "strong industrial and innovation district". We hope that through comprehensive and in-depth cooperation, we can help Longgang District further integrate into the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Area, evolve into a modern, international, innovative and high-level eastern center of Shenzhen, and facilitate the construction of Shenzhen as a pilot demonstration area of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
